On 24 October 2019 at 6:30 UTC, our Anaplan engineers were alerted to an issue causing some workspaces within our Frankfurt data center to become inaccessible. Further investigation determined that this was due to a background process running which caused network saturation in this data center. The process completed without intervention of our engineers and service was restored at 6:49 UTC. We have reviewed the activities leading to this interruption and have taken steps to prevent this from occurring in the future.
