On June 29th, Anaplan experienced a platform interruption impacting users in our Frankfurt data center. Our engineers were alerted and identified the service disruption was due to a connection limit being reached on our Gateway service. This in turn queued a number of requests and prevented users from being able to access the platform. Connectivity to the platform was reestablished without manual intervention, as requests continued to be processed by the Gateway service and as requests were cleared, access was restored. We are enhancing our monitoring to identify this issue before it occurs to prevent any further disruption to Anaplan users and, in addition to this, we are working towards implementing configuration changes to mitigate future occurrences. We understand the impact to your experience when these types of issues occur, and we are working diligently to improve our systems and processes to avoid further issues.
